Minimum Balance

£100

All customers living outside the Society's operating area require a minimum balance of £1000 to operate an account. The Society's normal operating area is Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Interest

Tiered interest rates means you earn even more interest as your balance increases.

Interest is paid half yearly on 30th June and is usually added direct to your account or it can be transferred to another Shepshed or bank account of your choice

Interest rates are variable.

Withdrawals

You can make withdrawals at anytime. All we ask is that you give us 28 days notice, alternatively you can have immediate access to your money, subject to a 28 day interest penalty on the amount you withdraw.
